theborgerfamilybuilds.typepad.com > Things We Are...

We are many things right now...these pictures are a summary of the last few weeks at the Borger Job Site.

...making progress.

...making progress.

Notice the broken arm of the sheetrock hauler. The one perk to this break was a morphine drip at the ER.

We don't know why, but Shane insisted on holding the rake in this one.

...working hard and hardly working.

...working hard and hardly working.

A positive for Mike to come from my break was a week of help from my dad. Pa had lots of helpers. :)

...driving the bobcat.

...driving the bobcat.

Way cooler than rides at the fair! (I saw the rental bill...way more expensive, too!)

...in love with "machines"!

...in love with "machines"!

We see "machines" everywhere. From bobcats to tractors, all "machines" are cool! We take a toy one with us wherever we go.

...tired.

...tired.

A long days work makes a boy tired. Notice what he is holding. See entry on "machines". (He doesn't look naughty at all in this picture...hard to believe!)

...over budget.

...over budget.

Over budget on staples alone! Shane found the staple gun. He loves it. Even with the wind in Great Falls, this house wrap is not going anywhere! (Click on the picture to enlarge it to get the full view of just how many staples can fit on a wallthis size.)

...mad.

...mad.

This is Troy angry. He covers his eyes like this for a while and then he starts yelling "I'm mean!" He is right, he is, but what he means to be saying is "I'm mad!" It's kinda funny.

...busy.

...busy.

There is so much to do and so little time! We sold our old house and close on that Friday, June 29. We have to be out of the house by July 21. It looks like will be vacationing at the Holiday Inn-Great Falls for a week or so.

...still married.

...still married.

At least as of this posting...if we are going to stay that way we will need to try harder to communicate...especially about the color of things. By the way Dad, I know it was Mike who cut out the vents wrong. I also know you told him you covered for him. You are not a good poker player. The look on your face when I asked what idiot did that was pretty evident that you knew the idiot. :)

...dirty.

...dirty.

I am amazed at just how much dirt the boys get into. Within minutes of our arrival at the new house, they are filthy.

...injured.

...injured.

In addition to my broken arm, which, by the way, is fractured in a "T" shape across the end of the radius, will be casted until AUGUST!, and did not recieve adequate sympathy from my co-borrower, I also banged the heck out of my leg the day before the break, also hauling sheetrock. This large bruise, in addition to my industrial strength cast have people questioning Mike about what really happened.
