I decided that the Epiphany was not only the right day to put away all of the Christmas decorations, it was mandatory.
What. A. Mess.
A reminder to Amy:
DO NOT put all of the decorations in the dining room, in a pile, to be put away "soon" EVER AGAIN!
It is not a good idea. It is a very bad idea. Thank you.
An apology note from Christmas 2011 Amy to Christmas 2012 Amy:
Dear Christmas 2012 Amy,
I am sorry that unpacking Christmas decorations this year will such a pain in the ass. I know I should have done a better, more organized job. No excuses. It was a mess to begin with from stacking it all in the dining room to be done with it for New Years. A day turned into a week, and then I didn't want to do it at all. Sigh...
I am sorry. Especially about the light strands, the lack of cohesiveness in rooms to totes and the mixtures of themes in totes and ornaments. I will do better in 2012. If the world does not end on December 21st, 2012, like the Mayan Calender says. Then I guess it won't matter. But just in case, we don't need Christmas 2013 Amy mad like Christmas 2012 Amy will be.
Thank you and I am sorry-
Christmas 2011 Amy
